  • KFC Chicken Skin

    KFC Chicken Skin

KFC Chicken Skin is a limited-time menu offered by KFC Malaysia. Some of you may wonder how it looks like. As such, we decided to share the product picture with you. The real product photo is as shown in this post.

We tried this menu and we found out that the chicken skin is too salty for our liking. However, it is sufficiently crispy. The saltiness will kill the joy though.

You can try to have some of it but you probably will not end up eating a lot of it since it is very salty.

  • McDonald’s Mega Mac

    McDonald’s Mega Mac

McDonald’s Mega Mac is the beefed-up version of Big Mac. Instead of 2 patties, Mega Mac has 4 patties. The test is very much the same as the Big Mac.

Nevertheless, if you are looking for a burger that has more beef, perhaps you should head to other specialty burger outlets, such as Myburgerlab or Killer Gourmet Burger (KGB).

  • McDonald’s Edusphere Cyberjaya

    McDonald’s Edusphere Cyberjaya

McDonald’s has opened its second outlet in Cyberjaya. The outlet is located at Edusphere, Cyberjaya.

    McDonald’s Edusphere Cyberjaya Location

The restaurant’s location is near to Taman Tasik Cyberjaya. It is surely one of the most popular destination for visitors of the recreational park if they want to quench their thirst after enjoying the nature there.

As of 9 October 2021, the restaurant is still busy with crowd but we believe the burden on the 1st Cyberjaya outlet can be lessen with the opening of this one.

As of 29 October 2021, cars are still lining up at the drive-thru lane especially during peak hours.

With the introduction of Mobile Order & Collect, the crowd is seen to be more manageable and less crowd is seen at the Drive-Thru lane.

As of March 2022, the restaurant closes at 12 midnight. It is unknown when the local council (MPSepang) will allow it to operate beyond midnight.

    McDonald’s GCB (Real Photos)

Want to see how an actual GCB looks like? You are at the right page. This GCB is purchased from McDonald’s Cyberjaya.

McDonald’s has never officially confirmed what is the long name for GCB but it is believed to be an acronym for “Grilled Chicken Burger”.

McDonald’s is now putting the burger inside a regular paper wrap. While this is certainly not in the box like some other burgers, it is more environment friendly. Like most other burgers served by them, the sauces aren’t in the burger by default. If you want to put some sauce in it, you have to put it by yourself.

  • Taco Bell, Cyberjaya

    Taco Bell, Cyberjaya

Taco Bell Cyberjaya is a Mexican-themed fast food restaurant located at Persiaran APEC, Cyberjaya. It is located near to KFC Cyberjaya.

    Taco Bell Cyberjaya Outlet

Taco Bell outlet at Cyberjaya was opened on Friday, 2 April 2021. Cyberjaya customers can get their taco fix here. When it was first opened, so many customers are queueing. This is not a surprise as the restaurant is the first Taco Bell outlet in Malaysia. The queue does not stop, even when the Malaysian government imposed strict Movement Control Order or total lockdown. However, the number of people patronising the restaurant saw a decline.

This outlet features a glass window by their kitchen. While you are waiting, you can see what the crews are doing at the kitchen.

    Taco Bell Menu

Check out the menu snapshot below for their current offerings.

Beverage selections include Taco Bell Sparklers, Coffee & Tea (Hot and Cold), and Pepsi. Additionally, dine-in customers get free refills for Pepsi.

    Ordering at Taco Bell

If you are ordering take-away, you will be given a “coaster pager” which vibrates when you order is ready. There is minimal dine-in space at the ground level of the restaurant. We are unsure whether this is to accommodate with the new norm post-COVID-19 or it has been designed that way.

Update July 2021: Due to current government restriction, dine-in is not available yet at Taco Bell.

    Taco Bell Food Delivery

If you are not keen to go to the location to have your food delivered, you can also place your order online via Foodpanda delivery platform. Taco Bell Cyberjaya is now available on Foodpanda delivery platform and the delivery price is reasonable.

    Take-away Packaging

Most of the orders will be packed in paper bag or container. As far as we know, no plastic bag will be given. For example, Nachos is served in a paper-based container.

Other than regular tacos, customers can also try their burrito.

    Price: Expensive or Not?

If you are used to buy Taco Bell from United States, you will find their Malaysian pricing to be a bit expensive. It is probably because of the ingredient cost here. Other than that, probably the portion is bigger here in Malaysia. Like many other international brands, the price point may not be what it seems.

    Check out their website here.

  • Kedai Kopi Sudin, Cyberjaya

    Kedai Kopi Sudin, Cyberjaya

Kedai Kopi Sudin is a Malaysian-themed breakfast cafe located near MKN Embassy Techzone, jalan Teknokrat 2, Cyberjaya. The cafe specialises in selling Malay breakfast delicacies.

Update 29 October 2021: Kedai Kopi Sudin remains a popular breakfast spot at Cyberjaya. As dine-in are now allowed for fully vaccinated people, you can expect to queue to get a place to dine in during the weekends.

    Kedai Kopi Sudin: The Specials

Kopi Ais, Kedai Kopi Sudin - March 2021
    Kopi Ais, – March 2021

Customers can have their Kopi Ais fix for a reasonable price here. The concept is similar to food court. Some of the food stalls inside handle their own food order and payment. Therefore, you will have to pay separately.

The food offering is mostly Malay food.

Roti Ratib, Kedai Kopi Sudin - March 2021
    Roti Ratib – March 2021

Apart from that, those who miss Roti Titab can have a similar kind of bread here at Kedai Kopi Sudin. Here, the menu is listed as roti ratib, probably because of the trademark issue with the original roti titab somewhere else. We have not found any other breakfast outlet selling this kind of menu. Probably, this is the only and only outlet selling the bread with kaya spread and soft boiled egg. The bread is nicely baked and the soft-boiled egg was cooked nicely. However, those who miss roti titab should definitely try the original one at Kelantan.

With the implementation of MCO/EMCO, the fate of Kedai Kopi Sudin is unknown. Those who patronise the cafe before clearly enjoyed the ambiance and would like to have their meals at the location. However, the prohibition of dine-in service can have a dire effect on retail outlets like this one. As of October 2021, the COVID-19 infection rate is going down and people has begun to patronise restaurants around them. This outlet is still one of the most popular place to have breakfast in Cyberjaya.
