We came to Nando’s Restaurant, Persiaran APEC, Cyberjaya for a takeaway order. The process is smooth, with menu already put on the order counter for easy viewing. The cashier was friendly and we were given a glass of Coke while waiting. Total waiting time is just 10 minutes despite the busy lunch period.
This review is from a Nando’s location at Persiaran APEC. The outlet at this location is now closed.
If you are still looking for Nando’s Restaurant in Cyberjaya, keep in mind that they now open at DPULZE Shopping Centre.

GPS system has been around for decades. We use it on daily basis. With the advent of smartphones, more and more people become reliant on GPS. Everyone knows how GPS can help them, but only a small number would know what actually is meant by GPS. In this article, we are going to share a bit about the history of GPS.
History of Global Positioning System (GPS)
Global Positioning System (GPS) is a system to determine your current location with high level of precision. This is possible via a number of satellites working together to determine a client’s location.
The history starts in mid-1960s when United States military experimented with their own network of satellites and submarines. It took few minutes for the setup to determine the exact location of a particular submarine on the earth surace.
The first satellite for GPS is launched in 1978 and the overall system with a strength of 24 satellites became fully operatonal in 1993.
In its early days, the US military made GPS exclusive for their use only. These days, a good smartphone can use GPS up to about 4.9m accuracy.

A quick check conducted on Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan (KPKT) website has found little information and they are not helping at all in terms of getting regular consumers right information about recycling.
Another check was conducted at MP Sepang website to seek more information about recycling. No information is found except for recycling-related events such as the launching of campaign and runs. Apparently, we like to do a lot of campaigns yet when it comes to dealing with recycling on daily basis, we conveniently forget our duty to recycle.
Murni Discovery is a small restaurant chain based in Malaysia. They have a number of outlets around Klang Valley area and one of them is in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. Check out their website here. However, there is not much information about the history of the restaurant chain or who are the people behind it.
The restaurant chain is best known for its wide selection of menus at a reasonable price (for Western Food and many other items) and mamak-like atmosphere. However, some patrons may find their pricing to be a bit expensive. Nevertheless, it still can give you great value for money.
Ordering at Murni Discovery
Ordering at Murni is easy, even for first-timers. As this is not a self-service outlet, you can expect their friendly team of waitstaff to attend to your needs. The waiters will take your order with a tablet at their hand, reducing the probability of an error occurring. Apart from that, their menu booklet is also nice to look at with pictures and price information clearly available.
Other Interesting Menu Items
Another great menu to try at their outlet is Chicken Chop. This is because with the reasonable price that you pay, you will get a generous portion of chicken chop together with several sides. Other than regular Chicken Chop, you can order Chicken Chop Special. It combines two boneless chicken pieces with cheese in between.
Sizzling Chicken Chop, Mac 2017
Our personal favorite would be Sizzling Mixed Grill. It has a combination of boneless chicken, beef as well as lamb (with bones). Do not be surprised as the Sizzling Mixed Grill, like other sizzling menu items, will arrive at your table piping hot. As you can see on the picture below, there were still a lot of smokes/vapors coming out of the pan!
Apart from Western menu items, Murni Discovery is also known for its Mee Raja (TripAdvisor, Azuanzahdi.com), Nasi Goreng
Habibi Restaurant is a Middle Eastern restaurant located at Shaftsbury Square, Cyberjaya.
Grilled Chicken with Rice, Habibi Restaurant, Cyberjaya – December 2016
While the restaurant have both indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor ones are more preferred especially by smokers, who frequently have their meal there.
“Shisha” or hookah is also available.
Address: P3A 23, Persiaran Multimedia 6, Cyberjaya, 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor
Operating Hours: 9AM to 3AM daily, depending on government restrictions.
Bidor Station Kopitiam is a family-friendly restaurant located in Cheras. While the location looks a bit out of place, do not underestimate what is being served there. The restaurant offers an excellent lineup of scrumptious local cuisines alongside some Western cuisines.
Update July 2021: The restaurant appears to be closed already.
When we talk about Malaysian cuisines, we don’t do justice to ourselves if we fail to mention nasi lemak. A variety of nasi lemak is available at the restaurant. However, our favorite menu is mee goreng mamak, which tastes better than many other mamak restaurants.
Mee Goreng Mamak, Bidor Station Kopitiam – March 2017

Avocado Smoothie, Bidor Station Kopitiam – March 2017
This is avocado smoothie, one of the special beverage available for order at the restaurant.
Kopitiam is one of the outlets at Quizinn by Rasa, klia2 Terminal, KLIA Sepang. The price is reasonable and there are several breakfast combos for you to choose.
The one that I tried is Nasi Lemak with Iced Lemon Tea and it costed me RM 16.65, quite reasonable because of the huge piece of chicken. Regular Nasi Lemak costs less though.
Starting from RM 38.05 (for Sushi King members). Photos are taken from Subang Parade outlet, one of the few outlets participating in the promotion. Sushi Buffet is definitely a must-have agenda for Sushi King customers.
Another outlet participating in the promotion is Sushi King @ SACC Mall, Shah Alam. We believe that the programme is designed to help boost the individual outlet’s revenue. This is because of its availability only at certain outlets.
Update July 2021: Several years have passed already and Sushi King has not offered any kind of sushi buffet like before.
For more information about Sushi King’s latest promotion and deals, check out their official website.
Recently, we had the opportunity to try Ah Cheng Laksa in DPULZE Shopping Centre, Cyberjaya. As the name says, we sure did try their assam laksa. In fact, in our opinion, the assam laksa is one of the best that you can find in Klang Valley area.
Assam Laksa, Ah Cheng Laksa – February 2017
They have huge fish for their assam laksa menu but you need to pay extra for that. This was in 2017, now it looks like the add-on is no longer listed on their menu.
The price is quite okay, with assam laksa starting from RM 8.90. They also have other snacks and beverages. Ais kacang is also sold at the outlet.
